Technical Assistance
We know that all Wyoming schools are not cut with a cookie cutter, so why buy an out of the box program to address parent engagement?
Click for our Technical Assistance BrochurePEN provides technical assistance that is individualized and customized to the needs of the school, families and communities involved. We work with the dynamics of your school and its stakeholders by carefully evaluating where you are using our stages of parental engagement (awareness, exploration, committment) to create a program that fits your needs, is based on your goals and provides you with the assistance that you need to be successful.
Awareness--What is the first impression your school gives visitors? Stepping back and taking a look from a different perspective, we assess the family friendliness of your school, work with with your teachers and staff to develop the role of an engaged parent and begin to build the foundation for a true family-school partnership.
Exploration--What is at stake for your stakeholders? We will help you to put the focus on education by bringing all the stakeholders to the table, working with them to strategize school improvement goals, while making certain that School-Family Compacts are working documents, and ensuring that your policies meet the letter of NCLB law.
Commitment--Are you committed to the vision of partnership? True commitment takes time. Time to change takes strategies and action plans. We work with you over the long haul as you tweak your practices, revamp your policies, and engage your families as a strategy for improving test scores. Remember, we are committed to helping you become a true partnership school!
