Parents as Teachers

PAT Program Goals

Increase parent’s knowledge of child development.

Increase parent’s feelings of competence and confidence.

Enhance parenting skills and parent-child interaction.

Provide early detection of developmental problems.

Develop strong partnerships between parents and schools.

Increase children’s school readiness and school success.
